From student psychologists to sports facilities, the University of Amsterdam offers a wide range of services to support students' wellbeing.
We collaborated on creating an infographic communication package to help students navigate these services. The result provides an intuitive overview of what's on offer, and motivates students to use them more.
We began with an analysis of students as our target audience, and clarified our aims for this communication. Then we did a visual brainstorm, creating quick images for each service on post-its, and working together to arrange them on the whiteboard.
The launch of the project coincided with Mental Health Awareness week. To promote the result, I joined the project team in handing out apples to students on campus. The apples contained a QR code linking to more information about these support services online.
The project page and service overview can be found at the UvA student portal.
This was an exceptionally smooth and streamlined project, thanks to a very organized team lead from the client and being able to spend sufficient time on the preparation and planning. It was a joy to reconnect with my alma mater in this way, and I look forward to other collaborations in the future!
